Compact Small Family House Design by Wendy Evans Joseph Architecture

Wendy Evans Joseph Architecture presents us small family house in olive grove in Geyserville, California. This small house was situated towards the top of an olive orchard that is aimed to take advantage of open area and hill view. There are also shady trees around the house, they were aimed to create an energy efficient and compact dwelling where the owner can sit in that entertaining area while enjoying the view of landscape around. This small 850 sqf house consist of three levels in which the top level consist of bedroom with a bathroom and also balcony, on the mezzanine contains kitchen and dining area and the lower level contain the deck and living room with glass wall that overlooking the hill view. Both exterior and interior was dominated with soft gray limestone that connected well to the nature surround.
